Boom!

Yup everything I read says Urban really wanted him o well :tu:

Even if he only committed to UT because Ohio st. Had another QB commit so what lol?? We will take as many 4*good players as possible, I'm sure any school that was recruiting him that he picked would have been happy and not turned him away lol.

I wonder how he will fit in,Dobbs will play most of the time I am sure.
Will he train up to number 2 in case Dobbs gets hurt ,will he play some on certain downs?
Whichever team he chose ..barring a real bad one he probably would not play much this coming year ...am I correct in my assumption?
I guess keeping a talented young QB happy for a couple years is a job in itself.

Im gonna take a guess and Say he will redshirt his freshman year. Since dobbs should be the senior starter and CBJ added all them QBs in the 2015 class one of them will be the back up.

This guy will be in the starter race in 2017 with a few other guys after dobbs is gone, and he will still have 4 years left at UT.

He doesn't matriculate to Knoxville until 2016 and like THEdonkey says he will most likely redshirt his freshman year. He would have redshirted his freshman year in Columbus as well. JT Barrett will be a senior in 2017 and he would not have been challenging to be a starter in Columbus come 2017. By 2018, he'd be fighting Stephen Collier (who will be a senior then), Torrance Gibson (4* coming in this Fall), Joey Burrow (3* this Fall), and Danny Clark (a 2017 commitment stud). So Guarantano would sit a minimum two years in Columbus after he redshirts while he has a shot to start after redshirting in Knoxville. Tristen Wallace is quoted as saying he thinks the QB competition will make him a better QB. That and his 6'3" 230lbs (#3 dual threat QB in his class) made him preferred over Guarantano. Urban picked Wallace after he decommitted to Texas Tech.

Yup that's why UT was the better school for him even with UT signing a couple good QB's in 2015 class and with Dobbs.

Guarantano should be redshirt Freshman starting the 2017 season, It will be a wide open QB race after Dobbs leaves, He will have a Nice chance to show his stuff and try to beat out a few guys for the starting job.

even if he don't win the starting Job he will have a full 4 years at UT still, To improve so anyway good pick up for CBJ and the vols.

After reading the Article above ^^^^^ i've seen comments from Ohio st. fans calling it Unclassy and taking shots at Urban and coaching staff lol. Funny

He should not have done that and immature. I'm glad he deleted the tweet. I wonder who instructed him to delete it?

It is true what he said but why say it?

It only reinforces the fact that Guarantano was their first choice.
