Bow holder?

Anybody have any suggestions on what kind of bow holder to use on summit climbing stands? My old viper had one on it,but I believe it wasn't made for it,just someone MADE it fit!! lol..what do you all use?

The little screw into the tree jobs. But typically I just hang my quiver and hold the bow.

In the Viper , I just use the front bar to lay my bow on . With the open shot , I use a bow holder similar to the one Summit sells on their website. I'll have to look up the brand.

Same hanger as duck or lay it on the shooting rail of the ladder stand

I put two 3/8 bolts into the side about 2 inches apart. Works good. I put the bottom limb in between the two bolts and let the weight of the bow kick it forward.

Aren't those kinda a hassle to ues with a climber? Haveing to screw them in and take them back out when you climb down?

They are a hassle, but nice when you need them. I will caution everyone that uses this type of hanger to make sure that it will not interfere with any of their shot opportunities.

I had put one up on a tree 2 years ago in the dark and the only shot opporunity that I had on a doe caused my top cam to hit the hanger. Thankfully, I found this out before I took the shot!!

Go to Walmart and buy you a universal bow holder.. I've used one for years, you just clamp it on the side rail of stand..

I bought one for the last time. The tip is so dull out of the box by the time I get it screwed in I'm sweating like a....... Not to mention how many time I have been busted and heard of guys getting busted when reaching for the bow.

I used the realtree bow hanger like pictured above last season while using my summit openshot stand. I now have a summit viper so Ill probably do like some of these guys and lay it across the rail.
