I might go all out bow hunting this year even during muzzleloader and gun season.

1) Does anybody here hunt bow exclusively during these seasons?

2) How much success has everyone had bowhunting this time?

3) Do you use grunt tubes, rattle, bleat cans, etc?

4) HOW THE HECK DO YOU STAY WARM IN A CLIMBING STAND WITHOUT GETTING STAGE 1 HYPOTHERMIA ?!?

i am going to use the most efficient tool that is legal at the time.

as for staying warm?? LAYERS!!!

I only gun hunt the first weekend of rifle in Ky.The only reason is because some of my properties are small in size with plenty of neighbors that hunt.I hunt all year for 1 shot and i dont want it to be claimed by someone else. After opening weekend most farms around me are vacant and out comes my bow.
I use grunts and horns often but mainly hunt the funnels and wait em out.
Not much problem staying warm the last few years.Usually light base and light wool will suffice.

Good luck to everyone this year.

1) Yes , I hunt with a bow throughout the firearms seasons
2) I have had good success in areas of low gun hunting pressure
3)Yes, I use grunt tubes
4) I layer clothing and wear very little when walking to my stand to avoid working up a sweat .
