Anyone have any opinions of this bow press?

Bow Press

Never seen anything like it. I'm getting tired of driving to various bow shops to get simple work done but at the same time I don't have the space or the money to get a full sized press. If this type would work I'm very interested.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll be giving it a try for next season. It's going to be great not having to drive into town for a 3 minute peep sight adjustment.

Thanks for the link, Crow. If I can ever clear enough stuff outta this place I'll probably end up getting a full sized press.

I have been using the Bowmaster press for about 20 years . Great little press that will work on most bows without damage .

I'd recommend the bowmaster press. Learn to use it and it could very well get you out of a bind. Best piece of equipment an archer can buy - and they are not that expensive compared to all of your other equipment.

I don't like it. I bought one and think that the way the cable is forced into the limb couldn't be good for it. They give you little pieces of leather so the cables won't dig into the limb, but I don't think the limb what designed to with hold that much presure in that particular way. This comment might make more since if you actually try one.

I have never had an issue with it digging into the limbs with the leather pads installed . I have used one for 20 years now and never had a single problem . I have used it on dozens of bows . It's probably one of the safest presses to use on bows without fear of damage to the riser or limbs . I have never heard of one causing any damage either .
