Bow question

I bought a Diamond bow new from Bass Pro back the spring of 09, but in September of that year I took a new job that took me overseas so the bow has been sitting in its case in the backseat of my car that is stored in a barn there in TN. This fall will be two years that it has been pulled out.

What all do you suggest I have done to it before I start shooting again? I figured I would need the string changed out, but a buddy of mine here says since it has sat so long I should also change out the limbs. Suggestions?

have it looked over at a pro shop.the heat may have damaged the bow since it was stored in a car.hope it did not but i would have it looked at.

I think it would depend on how hot it got in the car. I would probably take it to a shop and have them check it out. Might not be a thing wrong with it.
