Just had Mike @ Smokey Mnt. Pro Archery do half a dozen GT's this week with 2"Rayzers. Called him Monday, he ordered the feathers and had them ready Wednesday. That is quick! Mike and Jim will do you right and for a fair price.

a map on the site would be nice. i probably rode right by there today and didn't see it.

I went to their homepage and was looking at the pic of the outside of their shop and I saw a "potential" problem with my visiting. Anyone want to have a look to see if you can spot the "problem?"

No clue what the "potential problem" might be, but if it's brand related they don't care what you shoot. They will help anyone with any product and can order just about anything you want. Just good down to earth folks.

no wheelchair ramp?

You have it stik. 20 years after the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, I'm still banned from entering businesses that refuses to comply with the law. Now this Archery shop may have another entrance not visible in the pic. What businesses dont realizes is if someone who uses a w/c, like myself or jos3ywales, gets injured while trying to enter said premises (chair turning over) they would be responsible due to their failure to comply. This may sound harsh to some, but next time you go into a store, stop and ask yourself this question; "how would I feel if I couldn't go any farther?"

I go alot of places I see no ramp in front still and its as simple as this. I could just sue each of them. But even in todays world if you don't know someone personally in a chair and even if you do its often never thought of. WE get by in this world by making out own ways around about 80% of the things that go on in out lives. we makes out own ways to get around out own homes, our own ways or doing things reaching things, adapt and over come. There are still people I meet on a daily basis that thing if your in a wheelchair you never leave ur bed. I see and my frineds in chairs see it not only are there so many businesses we cant get in but there are so many that do have a ramp then a stand or something 3 feet from the front do there no way a wheelchair could get through or the isles with stuff crowded in the that you cant roll down. Those of us in wheelchairs the last thing we wanna do is draw more attention to ourselves like we don't get stared at enough, it is hard to deal with some of the ignorance still in the world we live in. The thing that makes me the the maddest and hurts the most is when I can get in some where or get through and the workers or owner looks at me in disgust like I am inconveniencing them so I can shop in there store. The bow shop in halls was in the second story for a while I couldnt get in there all my buddys always was say lets run over there nope I cant get in. Frontier when they where in a trailer i couldnt get in. there new shop is nice and I can. I guess theres always gonna be places where we cant get in but some ppl make it worse by making us feel like less of a person. but if it a business that just refuses to comply with the ADA act because there cheap or arrogant and someone like me is injured trying to enter then I say god help them. Getting in a store is alot like all the handicapped parking it was passed as a way to shut us up and is seen as a joke by many just my thoughts

Is this shop what used to be MTN top Archery on down the road in Seymour? If not is he still open up there as well??

Guys i had a problem with my bow that i couldn't figure out and I finally stopped in at Bowhunter Pro Shop in maryville (new shop). The gentleman I spoke with seem very knowledgable about bows and was very helpful. Needless to say I shot my bow a couple of time and he notice a couple of things that needed to be looked at, I left it with him since it's 10 years old and told him to do a complete tune up on it. They remind me alot of Eagle Wing, very nice and seemed to want your business, and they had a nice looking inventory of archery supplies, plus a range for $5 a day or $40 dollars a year. May want to give them a try.
