Who makes a good bow string at a reasonable price ? I have a '05 model bow that has never had a new string put on it, will that help out the speed a whole lot ? And also, Do you guys replace your cables the same time you do your string ?
I would by a Bucknasty. http://www.odproshops.com/bucknasty.htm
You might get some more speed. It would depend on what type of material you went with too about the speed. I like 452x for less stretch. Unless there was some situation where you needed to change your string and you had a new or same as new cable, change them both. To me just changing the string is kinda like changing the oil in your car and keeping the old filter.
Bucknasty bow strings are the best, they are pre stretched and not insanely priced. i think around 60 for two or three colors but you better hurry my buddy ordered some a month ago and still hasn't got them, he is very popular and very busy.
