So this is the second deer season that I've had my bow. I got a Hoyt Powerhawk last July or August. I had it sighted in good and was shooting great groups until I started messing with my broadheads, which were NAP Hellrazors 100 grain. I tried fine tuning my bow but i couldnt get them just right. Now my sights are off, and idk if I just lost confidence or what but i cant shoot near as good as i used to. I keep shooting about 2 inches right and about 1.5 inches high. I'm probably gonna switch to mechanical broadheads soon, thinking about Rocket Sidewinders 100 grain. If anyone can help me diagnose my shooting problems, I would greatly appreciate any help. I love my bow way too much, and hunting without it just this week has been wayyy too long without it haha. Also, if anyone has used Rocket Sidewinder broadheads, I'd really like to hear what ya'll thought of them.

have you walked back tuned and when was the bow tuned last? try moving the rest in tiny increments towards the way you need the b.h. to go get the left/right done then the up/down down after and it should come together . If you continue to have problems send me a p.m. and I'll give you my # and see if I can help you out!

Yeah i tried that, but i still cant get it to what it was. This all kinda puzzles me though cause the same broadheads shot great last year. The only thing i changed was i went to blazer and twister vanes. I prefer blazers but the bow shop was out when i had them done so i had to settle with twisters on a few of my arrows. The arrows with twisters shot incredibly off, i had a slight breeze from the south (proly about 3-5 mph) and i was aiming on the right side of the block (middle was shot out) and the twister arrows would drift all the way to the left side while the blazers would be just barely off. Dont really know how to explain that since they were both 2 inch vanes

Yea but I think the blazers do a better job steering fixed blades.I personally would stick with fixed ,switching to mec is just a band aid for your prob .is that a 2 cam bow ...poss.string stretch or cams out of time .Ever since I built a draw board tuning bows has become alot easier and boy do they shoot better /quieter /faster you get the point.check out slick trick standard 100gr awesome b.h. and will fly great even out a bow that is not tuned so great .hope this helps J.T.

Yeah, that's the only thing that I worry about with mechanicals is the risk of it not opening. Well, its the half cam system so yeah i'd say it has two cams. Btw i've never heard of slick trick broadheads, can you get them from bass pro?

Don't think so they sell them in dickson and I have a guy I order from in Ohio for. Like 25$ takes 4/5 days .how far are from me id be happy to tune ur bow, me and my neighbor have a shop press draw board the works

I'm only about 45 minutes away from Fairview. I haven't been there since I played football a couple years ago. Not 100% sure how to get there
