Bow value?

Suppose a man wanted to sale a Mathews monster mr-8 which is Mathews dual cam bow. It's. 2012 model with black gold camo sight, axion stabilizer in lost camo, with a QAD drop away rest. What do you think would be the re-sale value on such?
 
I haven't really kept up with the value on the Monsters. I'd do a search for completed listings on ebay. That should give you a fair idea.
 
I saying around $500-550. The bare bow is worth $500 alot of time you just about have to give the sight and rest just to sale it. My self I would part it out and sale the bow then sale the accessories by their self. Depends on what kind of QAD you have but you got around $150-200 in accessories. I know you paid way more than that but archery stuff loses its value fast. Plus August is the best time to sale, just before deer season.
 
Wow, 500 seems really low. I understand that they depreciate in value but that's depreciating about 700 bucks in one year that's insane I had no clue it was that bad!
 
It is a pending question. If the bow is camo...seems like they were only like $849 brand new (before tax). The ones with a black riser were about $100 more, and not sure on the target colored ones but probably a little extra. Nobody really cares for accessories already on the bow; they usually are picky about what they have and choose to put their own stuff on them.

I dug some posts on ArcheryTalk and looks like the current selling price for them is:

Target colors (red smoke, blue smoke, black) are about $650-700 bare.

Camo ones have been going for about $550-$600, and it's a mix bag between bare bow and with accessories.

Don't confuse market value with what the bow is worth to you. While $500 might not be dead on the mark, the bow might be worth more or less to you than market value. You might look on the AT classifieds to see what they are going for (not what the asking prices are).
 
I base most my prices off AT. I buy, Trade and sell on there alot. If you sale send me a PM and let me know how close or far off I was in the price. I hope I'm low for your sake. Most of the time if somebody wants it bad enough they will pay more. Good Luck
 
good luck with that. I said $500-550 bare bow and that he had $150-200 in extras. So we're not that far off. Just easier to sale a $500-550 bow than a $750 fully loaded bow. I think anyway.
 
i mean it is no big deal really, just thought I would ask. I have kind of been dabbling the idea of getting a new one. I was thinking about like 850 900ish I feel lie thats making someone a pretty good deal. Oh well, I may just put it up before too long and see what I can get for it.
