Since the death of the server caused my original post to die, here it is again:
This Saturday & Sunday, August 30-31, Eagle's Wings Archery is hosting their annual Bowhunter Skill Shoot. It's a 20 target 3-D shoot with a different scoring system.
What would normally be the "10 Ring" is worth 2 points. Hit anywhere else on the target and you loose 2 points. The idea is to know your ability and your target and when you should pass on taking a shot and risking a wound. We usually have about an equal number of negative and positive scores.
But don't get overly concerned about your score. (After all, they are just "rubber deer".) All score cards get put into a drawing for prizes.
Cost is $5 per score card. Shoot as many times as you like and load up your name in the drawing. Just $5 each time.
Shoot times are:
Start as early as 9am either day
Start no later than 3pm either day
