A balanced tune, a thread wound tight.
A bonded fletch for pin-point flight.
A metal shaved so razor thin.
It cuts the air in any wind.
A side of lip, the cheek and eye.
An anchor true for letting fly.
A knowing yard and pitched right pin.
While standing in a face blown wind.
A grip un-firm and elbow bend.
To steady shaft and firm the limb.
A breath of air to fill the lung.
To slowly let the string undone.
A silent wisp and sudden thud.
A perfect trail marked down with blood.
And then we take to fill our plate.
While giving thanks for all we ate.
