What your poundage?? Im thinking backing off to around 60lbs or so. I can hold that weight for close to 5 minutes. Gonna get papertuned and check muzzy flight this afternoon.

I may be in the minority here but, I use the exact same setup as I use in deer hunting. Same arrows, broadheads, bow, and poundage. I've never had to wait any longer for a turkey than a deer. Although I tend to watch the birds alot longer since they can't smell and they can't see me in my blind. I use a Hoyt bow at 70lbs 2413 arrows and Magnus Stinger broadheads. I use a Primos Blind and have had great luck out of this set-up.

is there a preferred broadhead to use for turkeys? I'm thinking about doing some bowhunting for turkeys this spring. Never tried it, but I've always thought about the challenge of taking one with a bow.
