Bowhunting Turkeys

Bowhunting them is tough! And expensive.
Last year:
1 miss, arrow not recovered -$30
1 hit, complete pass through arrow not recovered -$30
Finishing shot on above bird, shaft snapped (saved broadhead and Lumenok) -$7
So, final talley was one bird = $67.
Experience = priceless

Not to mention I ended up with 4 brests, bright side didn't have to do much field dressing. Just wash the parts of leaves. Shouldn't have used an expendable, didn't have time to swap. Great info.
