Had a guy offer me a staight up trade my 101st for his general. Yes the gen has new limbs.

I have an allegiance and I must say I do enjoy the shorter ATA over the long.

I can't get top dollar out of the 101st because it has a good amount of ware on the grip. So I was thinking to trade in to something like that would be good.

Just thought I would run it by the tndeer family and see what yall think. I have never shot a general. Pro's...Con's anybody got one.

Both are good bows,I also would MUCH rather have the shorter ata. The 101st is about 25 fps faster but has 1 inch less braceheight and is about 5 inches longer. If the general is in good shape, I would make the trade.

It is a bit slower than my 101st, but I do like that increase in brace height. I like the longer ata becuase it seems i can hold steadier, but I don't care for the string angle. I think I'm gonna go for it.

Who has hijacked W.Seay's ID?

Well either way i'm glad to see that someone that obviously has experiance with archery contribute to the forum in a positive way. Thanx w.seay

Two different bows for sure. The 101 is a mustang GT. The general is a cadilac sedan. Not the smoothest bow but one of the quieter bows on the market, and it is a joy to shoot. General's have held good resell.
