Does anyone own or has shot the new bow tech knight carbon riser bow. I'd like to get a little more feed back on it. I stopped by my buddy Ty's place the other day and was looking at them. I shot one and holy cow. I'm just wondering how they do or would hold up. It is a sweet shooting bow. Light as a feather. And pretty fast. At 65# draw weight it shot a 405 grain arrow thru a chrono at 304 fps. I'm just wondering as light as it is would it hold up to the every day abuse that hunting can produce sometimes.?

I have shot alot of bowtech bows , and when they are new they are pretty good bows . I have just had wayyyy to many friends and people come in the shop with them blown up . At The Kentucky ASA tournament last year, a guy was at full draw when it exploded on him . They shoot good when new , and I know some people never have any issues with them , but I have seen wayyyy too many blow up or have other issues . And that was before the lightweight riser

I am a Bowtech guy thru and thru....owned several. Out of all of their bows, the Carbon Knight is by far the least impressive bow I've ahot from them. In appearance it looks identically to the destroyer. It basically has the same riser only in carbon fiber. The draw cycle and everything about it. Valley, wall, etc. Reminded me of my destroyer 340. What i wasn't impressed with was how the bow kicked forward from the bottom limb. I shot it several times and experienced the same thing each time. Another thing that concerns me is the price drop so sudden. Ive seen them from a couple dealers for $499....something just doesn't sound right. If course this is just my opinion.

I like the Assassin. I shot the Carbon Knight at a shop and it had a slight jump to it. Then shot one that was actually set up. With a good rest, Stabilizer and such. Totally different bow I thought. I really liked it myself. VERY lite bow...
