Report: Ohio State's Adolphus Washington Cited For Solicitation Wednesday Night

Update: According to ESPN's Austin Ward, head coach Urban Meyer will address Washington's punishment when he gets back from recruiting.


Earlier: Per MyFox28 in Columbus, Ohio State defensive lineman Adolphus Washington was cited Wednesday night on a charge of solicitation. The alleged crime is considered a first-degree misdemeanor.

The state of Ohio defines solicitation as "engaging in sexual activity for money or payment."


According to the station, OSU spokesman Jerry Emig said that "disciplinary action" will be handled internally. Washington also has a scheduled court date for December 17.

Washington, a senior, is one of the best at his position in the country. He's expected to be taken in the first few rounds of the upcoming NFL Draft.

Wonder what Urban aka Mr Strick Disciplinarian is going to do with this Ohio State football player. Seems to me solicitation is much worse than crab legs.

So was he buying whores or playing gigolo? The article makes it sound like he was the one "working" for $$$.

Regardless, he definitely should be suspended for the Fiesta Bowl. Do the right thing for once, Urban!

There are probably 2,000 coeds on that 70,000 student campus who would do him just to say they did a football player. I remember a college buddy who got drunk one night and got his head shaved. The next weekend we all went on a road trip to OSU and he got laid by a girl who thought he was on the swim team!

It seems as though the Columbus PD is the only PD enforcing the law on major college football teams. Meanwhile the Tallahassee PD is shaking their heads "silly Columbus PD."

Pretty funny OHVA----from Gainesville to Ohio ,nothing has changed. The players at Ohio st. will end up with a different kind of crabs.

Do you think he deserves the same "Strick" discipline the crab thief got? At least Washington was willing to pay for the possibility of getting crabs or play. Your favorite crab thief just TOOK both without permission. :smash:

Not gonna rehash this whole crab legs thing again. I understand you hate Jameis,so what!!!! The bigger issue is Urban lier and his moulding of Ohio State players.Fire away mud. Jameis paid his penalty with suspension and games missed ,get over it. Yes ,Washington deserves suspension, and community service just like ordinary Johns do. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

That's 2 arrests, in the last month(that's been reported). Urbie will pass his UF record at this pace. Maybe he should read his book. :rotf: :rotf:
 
badnole, when you bring up incidents involving other teams, players and coaches and your favorite team, players and coaches do not have clean hands, how can you be surprised or angered when others "rehash" the errors of their ways? Also, it's not like we haven't read your "rehashes" on Urban, OSU, UF and other teams almost daily for months.

That is bs ohva. I have not even mentioned the 20 guys oh st has had charged over the last 2 years. Almost daily is a wide stretch.Try every time meyer or you run your mouth about everyone else.lol have a good day. :tu:
