Have never been able to use mouth calls because of the "gagging" effect. So I have a house full of friction calls. They ALL sound like a hen, because every hen sounds different. And, when a gobbler is in the mood, they don't have to sound like a calling contest. However, the one that usually goes afield with me is a "Raspy Old Hen"  box call made by Ike Ashby out of Missouri, long since out of business. Super sound, at least as perceived by me!
