make sure you dont get that stuff on your R15 or Ruger Mark III pistol grips,,it will plain eat the finish off..

I made both of those mistakes but it was a Mark I. Minimal damage to both but yea they need a warning on that stuff if there isn't one already.

Hope you didn't booger yours up too bad.

no real damage,,but if I hadnt saw the black diamonds on my hand it could have ruined the grips,,I drowned it with Rem oil and got it off pretty dang quick,,


I would say 2-3 minutes would melt the grips,,about like brake parts cleaner,,

Hey I'm gonna hijack this for a minute. On your R-15 how do you clean the chamber portion of the bbl. I have a hard time getting in there around where the bolt lugs meet the bbl ect. Just curious if there's a trick with out any further disassembly.
