Break out the big guns

i saw that. both good hires, but Kuligowski is a absolute stud. very highly respected in the coaching ranks. just what the #1 defense needs, the best DL coach in the country :bash:

"he was one of our starting offensive tackles"...imagine that :rotf: ......you can coach a position you didn't play? :rotf:
 
2 Associate Head Coaches...

What really are "Associate Head Coaches," especially in a Saban -coached team? Probably great hires, but I don't get the titles. And, I know, not just Bama does this...

A couple of reasons for this. The first is resume fodder; "Associate Head Coach" looks a heck of a lot better than just a position coach when it comes to follow on jobs. Also, the loftier sounding title MAY justify a higher pay rate, though I doubt that's the case here; Saban doesn't seem to have trouble getting the AD and trustees to pay his assistants better than a lot of head coaches.
