Ok I have what probably is a stupid question.
These two fish are what I have always called bream.
The first picture I have always heard, thought and believed was a male.
I can't remember, of the literally thousands of bream I have cleaned, ever seeing one like this with eggs in it.
The second picture is what I have heard is a female.
I kept a few of these last week to verify and every one of them that I kept did indeed have eggs in it.
I can't say for sure but myself and a friend THINK we have cleaned fish like this one that didn't have eggs (they were male) but with that being said I couldn't swear to it.
So is the first picture a bluegill and the second a bream or what's the deal????
