Just wanted to say I watched him play football his whole career and then watched him the other night go into the Hall of Fame. He was not my favorite player ( John Elway) but I will miss him. He's probably the most relatable athlete that I have seen play all sports. He had his faults and they played out during his career, he was exciting to watch, and more than anything he wore his emotions on his sleeve like most of us do. I think that like the 1990's Buffalo Bills his greatness will be realized the farther away from the game he gets......

One of the most entertaining QBs to ever play the game.

His Iron man record will more then likely never be broken. He holds the record for the most consecutive starts by any player in the NFL with 297 (321 including playoffs)

During Favre's consecutive starts streak, 238 other quarterbacks have started in the NFL, 17 of them being back-ups to Favre at one point.

Over 71k yards, 500+ TD's, 11x pro bowler,Super bowl Champ, 3x MVP.

Favre was second only to Peyton as my all time favorite player. He cared about winning, and was willing to lay it on the line every game. I will ALWAYS remember the game he played a couple of days after his father died. He was in another time zone that night. I had allergy eyes that night watching him winning one for his Dad.

When we got his games on TV, I always tried to make a point to watch them.

The best indicator, to me, of just how good he was is the fact that he kept Aaron Rodgers on the bench for three years. While digging around, I didn't realize that after he retired and then changed his mind, he thought GB would take him back, but they nixed that idea! That couldn't have been an easy decision.
