Broad head Question

i'm trying to shoot 100 grain fixed broad heads with my 175lb cross bow. well every time i shot it so far tends to shoot towards the left about a foot off the target at 25 yards. but i can put a field point on them and they hit right on every time.Am i doing something wrong i know i'm not flinching when i shoot it.

Is there a difference between board heads or is all of them the same?

What 100 grain fixed blade broadhead are you shooting dh??

Some fixed blade heads shoot better than others...generally, the smaller the better...1 1/16th - 1 1/8th inch cut, 3 blade heads work for me and my xbow (328 fps)

I use the Parker Red Hot heads, 100 grain...

Some cheap ones that a buddy the me last year.they are made of aircraft alum

that's the problem with shooting fixed broadheads with any type of bow. the sights have to be adjusted to the BH or the heads tuned to the arrows to get the POI closer, that's the reason I will only shoot mechanicals now,way easier & consistent

Cheap maybe part of yer problem. What arrows & fletching do you have them on ? Good fixed accurate BH's Strikers, Slicktrick standards, Shuttle T's

i'm using the Carbon Express surge 22" bolt with original flection

Go buy you some MUZZY'S and you want have any problems

Ditto. Go with a heavier broadhead. Re-Fletching your bolts with 2" Helical will also help.

I got some 125 grain broad heads today and they are hitting right in the money thanks everyone for the info I ready to let one fly at a deer this year

Yeah, mine shoots the 125 Muzzys right-on.
