alright yall...same question weve heard 100 times... i just tried out my new redhead blackouts lastnight and they are shooting low about 2-4inches and a little to the right... any advice on how to fix this (detailed-for a novice) without having to resight my pins just for b.h. flight? I thought and tried to just aim about 2-4inches high and i would nail the bullseye, but i wish i could get the arrow to hit spot on w/ both tips....

I just thought it would be the same situation, just my field tips would be hitting 2-4inches high at that point...i thought ive heard of a way to tune the bow so the tips hit the same spot whether its field or b.h.

Assuming you are shooting the correct spine arrows . Make sure your broadheads are spinning true , then move your rest up and to the left in 1/16" increments . This will bring your fieldpoint and BH groups together . After both are grouping together , reset your sight pins if needed .

My Blackouts shoot pretty close to my field points. I did do some adjustments on my rest then adjusted my sight. There is a little bit of difference between the Blackouts and my field points, but not enough to make much difference out to 40 yards. I'm definately within the kill zone.

When I bought a new bow with shorter draw length, I had my arrows cut down, making them too stiff. They grouped field points fine, but broadheads were off by a couple inches. I just bought 4 new arrows of the correct spine, just to try them out, and the broadheads now hit right with the field tips. All I did was take the broadheads off the old arrows and put them on the new. Didn't even have to change the sight pin.
