Broadhead Question for a Bow Novice

I bought some grim reaper expandables a couple of years back. My question is that I pulled the rubber bands off of the broadheads. Will these still fly normal, or do I need to put the rubberbands back on?

Probably a novice question, but I don't know.

Put them back on before shooting they will not fly the same. They need to stay closed until impact.

If the blades open before hitting the target, which they may very well do with the rubber bands off, they probably won't fly right. Especially is the blades don't open up evenly.

They need to be on to keep a concentric shape or they will not be consistant.

Shoot the NAP Spitfires,no rubber bands or O rings and they fly great!
