anyone shot the Cabelas Copperhead broadheads? they look alot like the G5 striker. just wondering because they are on sale for $20 which is right up my ally lol

other then that anyone have recommendations for under $40 fixed blades? i have always shot muzzy but may try something else this year havent decided. I am not sold on mechanicals personally but have looked into some of the hybrid mechanicals (dont require rings or bands to hold them in)

i really like th G5 fixed blades but man $40 is just more then i can make myself spend on broadheads these days.

I haven't used the Copperhead but I have and still use the Cabela's FX-3. I like them. They are about like the Muzzy MX-3. I mainly just carry a Cabela's now for a coyote or something. However, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a deer with one. I've used Muzzy MX-3 for the last fews years and I like them. They are 20 something for 3.

I haven't used Cabela's broadhead, but I shoot the RedHead version of this broadhead (made by G5 and as far as I can tell, it's the exact same broadhead). The copperhead looks similar to both the G5 and RedHead broadheads, so I'm sure they all fly very similar. They fly very well if you can get the blades of the broadhead in close alignment with the arrow fletching. I prefer to use my Rage 2 blades, but I also use this broadhead as well. With my setup, up to 40yds, I get similar results with this broadhead as I do my Rages.
