Wanting to shoot an expandable without o-rings. I was wondering about either the rage or the new tru-fire switchblade. In the rage would the two blade or three be better.
 
I'm going to shoot the two blade rage. This is the first time to shoot em, so i don't know if there is any difference.
 
The rage does operate with O-rings but they are not holding the blades in place. I started hunting with them last year and didn't kill anything. My brother did and the hole is remarkable. I had a friend shoot a nice buck in LBL last year and shot was way back, terrible. I believe the only reason they found the deer is the damage the broadhead did. They shoot great too!!

Rage has an o-ring
Try rock mountain snyper gator xtp
or g5 tekan
 
I shot several brands,and now only shoot Grimm reaper Razorcuts. Amazing at cutting at the imitial poi on angled shots. A dream for slightly quartering away shots.
Quality product that operates as it is designed to.
 
Rage 2 Blade for me. Huge holes and lots of blood.

If your blades become loose on the Rage, carefully roll the o-ring down the broadhead (toward the arrow shaft) and then rotate it a 1/16" around the shaft, then roll back up into place. That will typically tighten everything back up.

Grimm Reapers do not use an O ring. They use a cup with grooves. Locks down tight,and opens on contact,even at an angle.
Amazing mechanical with the sharpest razor . Opens holes larger than I have even been able to get with antyhing else.
Can actually drop deer in their tracks
 
I hope eveyone goes to the expandables so the muzzy prices will come back down. HOPE YA'LL FIND YOU WOUNDED DEER !!!!!!!!!!
 
The Rocky Mountain Gator XP has the same design as the Rage, actually some say that the Rage is a copy of this design. Anyway, BPS has them on sale for $21.00, that is almost half the price of the Rage. The reviews on the website are actually a little better for the Gator than for the Rage. I'm a sucker, I bought both!!
