Broken antlers

I've never seen this many where I hunt . Either more fighting or weaker antlers due to drought? Here's a few of them.

Age structure improving, more older age class deer fighting.

I have got a few like that on my place in Dickson
They were messed up way before the rut

You've probably got a bully buck or two in the herd.

It's the same on my place. After about the 3rd week of November just about every racked buck has something broken. I've never seen so many in the past.

This is the first year in 10 where I DONT have a bunch of broken off bucks.

I'm guessing it's because they don't want to waste a bunch of calories in such a terrible ongoing drought, but I dunno.

I have 4 or 5 half racked bucks, by far the most i have had.
