Stopped to take some pics of this bird yesterday. Of course the landowner does not allow any hunting. Can't stop me from shooting em with the camera...pretty bird.

Pretty. I like those brown phase and white phase birds. I chased one that looked just like him all over a certain area "field"we hunt about 7 or so years ago. Found him in the woods last day of season I guess someone wounded him and the coyotes got dinner.

I've laid eyes on a dozen or more color phased hens over the years, including two 'bronze' ones similar to this gobbler. But I have yet to see a color phased gobbler in person. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe he'll move your way when they bust up. Our turkeys here in South MS have certainly done a good bit of moving the past 2 weeks.
