Was supposed to be camping with a buddy, but plans changed.
I decided to hop into a ladder stand for the am sit this morning. Maybe the 2nd time I've been in this spot all year.
At 615am, I recalled the last 2 9pt bucks I shot from this stand in years past. Then I asked myself, why are you not looking in the direction from which the last 2 9 pointers came? So, I slowly looked to my right side, almost my 3 o'clock. Seen this nice 10 at about 30 yards. I let him clear some trees and let the ole 295 HP powerbelt fly. He took exactly 0 steps. Love these tracking jobs.
I'm so thankful to be blessed with a nice deer, delicious meat and the opportunity to spend time in the Lord's creation.

Amen, I love it when they go down in sight
