I went down and put a feeder and my camera on my new property since i am not going to be hunting it this year due to all the dozer work that will be going on in gun season getting roads and plots cleared. Anyway got several pics of this guy with this being the best one. what do yall think age?

Id say 2.5, nice rack! Also dont be scared to hunt your land even on the day a dozer has been there,I worked road construction for 15 years and killed many a buck in the afternoon after we had run equipment all day.Never will forget watching a buck at 30 yards while I loaded a truck with a trak hoe.I dont know what it is but it didnt seem to scare them away to far.

I would say he is 2 1/2.
As F H said I would not hesitate to hunt the area just because equipment is used in the area. If you don't belive me just check for tracks the day after equipment has run. I think you will be surprised to find fresh tracks.

Anyone have any comments on that buck's body condition? I can't count ribs, but he looks a little thin.

deer to me seem a whole lot nosey
they will be in a fresh cleared plot before the next morning
ive seen them come to see what a combine was doing
watched them watch loggers walking into clear cuts after daylight
so i'd hunt the place
just in my imo :)
