Thanks to all who came out this weekend we had 140 shooters total what a awesome crowd you guys are great ...next shoot is March 23 a one day only shoot.. due to the youth turkey hunt we are going on Sat ...see everyone there . Food will be served just like this weekend at that shoot as well

I wouldn't say burned it up lol , I shot decent on the first ten targets and then burned up the last 10 . I shot 12 up on the last 10 targets on the flat side . But I struggled to hit a 12 on the first 10 on the other side . If I could just quit hitting those 8's I'd be happy .
 
I know what ya mean about the 8s. I had a clean round going at Benton til the 15th target...the closest one of the course. 25 yards. Wolf. Everything else had pretty much been 33-38 yards so I hadn't been moving the sight much between targets. I walked up to that 25 yard target and made an Open C rookie mistake. Didn't move my dial. I could see the 12 rings with my eyes without binos and just focused on those; drew back and shot an 8. Bye bye clean round.

A wolf at 25 yds? Nope I almost never see that target under 38, but they'll stick that yote out there at 47-48 yards all the time!
 
That's what threw me off a little. The rest of the targets were 33-38 and then there was that 25 yard wolf. Everybody says they practice shooting at longer yardages and it makes the short ones easy...I've found that to be untrue. Its a mental thing. You shoot best on what you practice. A 25 yd wolf was a "gimme shot"; I would have been 18 up if I would have just hit a 10 on it. I didn't move my sight dial and there was an 8. Finished 16 up.

We will be open March 22 -23 for our 3-d shoot ...we had posted a one day shoot only but have since had a volunteer to help us out and open the shoot up on Sat morning ..so make plans to join us at B2B for that weekend ..$1.00 menu is back so make plans for lunch
