Buddy caught a TARP drum

A friend of mine and I were fishing last week in Melton hill for bass... I was fishing a plastic worm and he was fishing a "grub thing with lots of legs" and we were fishing a rock wall... He hooked into this 31-inch drum... I was lucky enough to have to big net in the boat from catfishing the night before... If I would not have, we probably would not have gotten it in the boat. Take a look at how wide the tail is on that fish... big fish for a normal bass rod with 8lb test

If those things ever become popular to catch, I will become rich. I catch more of them than bass on kentucky lake haha never one that big I dont think. Good fish.

smaller ones are good to eat... blacken them like redfish...
 
I've caught one that qualified but it barely made the minimum length, that's a big one.
