With my increase in property this year I needed to add a few cameras. I lost a Primos Truth 35 to a battery explosion this year. I still had two Truth 35's and a Scoutguard SG550V with a security box. I saw a deal on Ebay for 4 Primos Easycams. They are photo only, small, red flash and super cheap (25.00 each). I will be using these more for monitoring poacher trouble spots, the front gate and trails. I copied the program over to the SD card and tested one out. It did just fine. If they last a year I'm OK with them.

Yesterday I wanted to add a couple of quality cameras to my collection so I ordered two Moultrie A7i black flash cameras that will be doing the heavy lifting with my other 3 decent cameras. Reviews were favorable on chasingame so we shall see. I bought them as a pair on Ebay for 150.00. As much as I have loved the Primos Truth 35s, there are now better, less expensive options out there. I have never used Moultrie products but I'm always looking for a good camera.

I have had mostly good experience with Moultries.............except for the M80 when it originally came out. Went thru 3 in a heartbeat and didn't get help from the manufacturer at all as it had went out of warranty. The main complaint I had was within that one year period I barely used it and they failed. One failed after 7 pictures and come to find out the brand new Ray o vac batteries leaked into the unit the first time I put them in. Talking about a strange experience, that was pathetic. I have had a few others including d40's and the c operated ones and have had some really pleasant use of them. Moultrie has had my business for 12 years. But I suspect there are others as good if not better. My son bought a newer model.....cant remember now ..........but it was stolen off a field. This unit was awesome on pic taking and very low drain on battery. I think his batteries were still strong after 6 or 8 months........that was a great cam.....may have been a bushnell?

I put 8 AA batteries in one of the new Moultries along with a new SD card. The label says install only class 4 cards but all of mine are class II. It worked fine. I need to check the video quality out now. These things are a snap to program. I never even had to open the owner's manual. Alot like my Primos Truth 35s.
