I've been craving good French toast, eggs in a basket, and good bread in general. So a few weeks ago I gave life to a sourdough starter. I fed it daily, talked to it, gave it encouragement and last night I turned it loose. The house smells great and I get to spend the next few days turning these into some tasty things. And now that I've got about three cups of sourdough starter living in my kitchen I'll probably make some pancakes, waffles, and biscuits too.
