Built a new call for Opening day!

I thought I would build me one and paint it black since I am hunting public land and white is a turkey color

I build then as a hobby. They are by far my most favorite call in my vest. I have found for my own experience that if a gobbler wont commit to a call pulling out the wingbone can be a game changer.

i actually like wingbone calls and have used them before, they are definitely hard to get use to if you have never tried one. I had a buddy that made them at one time but he has since quit making turkey calls all together, bad part is i lost or broke all he made for me.

I use gorrila glue to hold them together. Its not a big deal to build one. You take the three bones in the wings,saw the ends off with a hacksaw, clean the marrow out with a clothes hanger or piece of wire,boil the bones, sand them to fit together add glue then paint.
