We built one of these targets two years ago and loved it! But after leaving it out in the weather it was ruined this year. So we decided to build one with a roof over it to keep it dry.
Here's how it turned out!

The bright red dots didn't show up well on the black faberic. Probably going to repaint them flo orange.
Going to fling some carbon at it this evening hopefully!

I think its funny that you have KISS in your sign off ,but that thing is anything but simple. Great job!!! Let us know how it holds up. Are you at all worried about the chicken wire damaging arrows??

I've got to get a new target soon. You've got my gears turning now.

Well it started out as a simple build a box, stuff it with clothes, throw up a couple post beside it, put a tin roof over it and be done! But then Dad got to thinking! :D lol So now it has doors, sides, shingles on the roof, and sits off the ground about 8 inches! lol
Oh well! It still beats buying two or three bag targets from bass pro each year! That can get expensive quick!

I have no idea how long one of these targets will last but the last one we built lasted two years and was still stopping arrows like it did the day we built it. But we just left it sitting on the ground and the frame rotted out on us.

If you are ever interested, buy a blob, most shoot them for 10-15 years and I know of many who have shot them for 20 or more years.
