not so well. I'm not a "next year" kinda guy, more like next decade (with luck).

I was impressed with the vols this past weekend. The crowd was really into it. Especially at the end of the game when they realized they lost and started yelling f you Florida. Crowd will never get into a vandy game like that, hopefully. Stay classy Knoxville.

Edit to add, I would gladly trade derek mason for butch and co.

He Will get a pass this season since its season #2 if he gets them 4 and 5 star players and only wins 5 or 6 games again next year with the players he has a lot of VOL fans will be upset

Volnation was hilarious the other night! I read and laughed at some of the post until I had tear in my eyes. :D. Well, I may be wrong, and this is just something I been thinking for awhile and JMO. I think CBJ is probably a pretty good guy and a heck of a recruiter. Just not so sure of his actual coaching ability. I mean when you recruit top ranked players and talent your bound to look good at times just off the talent alone. You got to be able to take that talent and get the full potential out of it on a consistent basis. You've got to be able to coach heads up with strategy. Just like Muschamp, can't blame all this on the OC. At the end of the day your the head dog in charge on the sideline. I mean he was a OC from 92-97 and then again from 02-04 at Central Michigan. Just not sure he's got what it takes to coach down south on Saturdays, I mean this ain't exactly Cincinnati! ;)

You won't hear that at Vandy because nobody is left in the stands when the game ends. ;) That said there are idiots at every stadium. I do find it funny at all of the non-Vol fans that read Volnation. I bleed orange and don't read it. Guess I don't have the free time that some of y'all do.

I do find it funny at all of the non-Vol fans that read Volnation. I bleed orange and don't read it. Guess I don't have the free time that some of y'all do.

You can't beat the entertainment on there. Better than watching the news or reading the paper..... The post with the person crying after the game was funny and the response were down right funny.... :D

Smart phones make it easy to have the time while sitting in your stand.... :)

Several UT fans wanted Phil Fulmer fired in the 90's,just shows that every team has stupid fans.If you think Muschamp will not be fired,you are dillussional.They will win 5 games and miss another Bowl!!

I don't like having to say maybe next year every year, but if we say it enough we're bound to be right. Right? With that being said, I like Butch Jones. He's done way better in the short time he's been here than what Dooley could do in ten years. You can't expect the Vols to be a dominant team in 2 years with the recruits Dooley brought in. A lot of the problem has been the offensive line. They signed ZERO offensive lineman in 2012. ZERO!!! And they are feeling the repercussions of that this year. Worley gets hit way too many times. I truely believe with the talent that they brought in this year and the recruits they're bringing in next year, that they will be a much better team. If Worley didn't get hurt in the Georgia game, I think they would've won. They also should've beat Florida. Remember the game clock running out on that field goal? Anyways, back to recruits. They're bringing in two defensive lineman that are suppose to be as good as Henderson and Haynesworth. I'm really looking forward to that. Maybe Coach Jones can't coach the talent to its best potential, only time will tell. But I feel better about the future of the Vols than I did a couple years ago. Either way, I'll still say Go Vols!
 
Bunch jones will NOT get fired after this season! UT team as a lot of growing up to do they have played 45 under classmen! They have only played 13 seniors! Less then any other FBS team! If UT wants to more forward the next to seasons and have A chance to be good I said a chance!! I'm not gonna be the VOL fan that's says were gonna win 9 games next year.they will give jones the chance to coach these 45 under classmen and the 4 and 5 star players his gonna get next year. I say give jones 2 more years atleast! If they don't improve then ask me what I think of him Just my opinion. I don't think any coach could have took over this team and won many games in the first two years.
 
Jones is a proven winner. The question that I had was can he recruit at an sec level. He seems to be doing that , vols fans just need to let the player mature 2 years from now will tell the tell. All this playing time as freshman will really help when it matters 2/3 yrs from now. Just look what ole miss and miss state was 3 yrs ago they were in the same boat.
