Let me start out that I HATE UT!!!!!! Being a razorback transplanted here sucks. Its not really the football program, but the crazy fans that call into radio shows I can't stand. If national championships were handed out based on fans hopefulness then UT would have 50 straight!!! Before you get snippy I heard many a fan call in talking up the Vols back in the early drooly I mean Dooley days.
Anyways to my point I heard a interview with Butch Jones today on 104.5 in Nashville. He really impressed me. The programs he has started makes me think he has covered all his bases and if they fail it won't be because of lack of preparation or the little things. He said things like the brought in chairs for the second teamers to sit in and watch the first string. Makes them more relaxed and able to pay better attention. He also said they brought in sleep experts and they found most guys weren't getting enough sleep. They fix their sleeping issues and they are able to concentrate better in class and in film rooms. He said it also helps in the weight room. He wants all his guys to get 8-9 hours of sleep. Not staying up all night watching film, when they won't retain or be able to perform.
So now I am hoping a guy that impressed me fails, because there's nothing like a good Monday drive home after working listening to sports talk and laughing at the UT fans excuses and tears. And if he fails enough I'd be happy with him being a coordinator at UofA
