Just though I would offer up my initial thoughts on this vest for anyone who is interested in it and aren't close enough to a Cabela's to see one in person. First off, like most Cabela's gear I get, it isn't cheap but seems good quality. On thing I like over other vests I've seen or used, most every pocket has some kind of zipper or fastener. I'm not a fan of magnets at all. Yes they are quite and easy to open. Whether it would really be a problem or not, I don't want to worry about some of my equipment falling out and being lost. On the inside of this vest there is a large mesh zippered pocket on each side. Nothing ground breaking there. On the back is a normal game bag that's adjustable. Shoulder straps seem good. It has a height adjustable sternum strap, which is nice, and two other straps lower. On the right side you have a zippered pocket with two pot call holder and elastic loops for strikers. Beside it you have another zippered pocket with a small mesh pocket inside it. Also on the flap of the pocket you have some shock cord to hold things in place. Both of the pockets have cord where they won't fall all the way open and will let them just lay open. Above them there is a small zippered pocket and a large zippered pocket that goes pretty much to the bottom of the vest. On the other side there is another large zippered pocket just like this one. There is a small mesh pocket on the outside. Beside it is a pocket for your mouth calls. There is a little pouch that goes inside that pocket that is attached to the vest with a cord. The little wallet is either magnetic, spring, or both closed. I'm not actually sure. On the bottom there is a box call pocket with a draw string to cinch it down. It closes with a hook on some shock cord that hooks into a loop. This is one thing I wish was different. I would have rather had and adjustable buckle as the cord is not pulled all that tight with my box call. There is a piece of elastic on the box call pocket to hold chaulk. On the right side there is a zippered pocket. On the left side the is a mesh water bottle pocket with a draw cord. On the inside of the back it has raised part to let air flow through. It has the speed seat that seems comfortable and works good after I got it adjusted right. It has the fold out kickstand and the legs are independently adjustable. Seems like this would come in handy for setting your back at the angle you want and maybe help when setting sideways on a hill. I'll have to try that one in the field though. As I said these are just my initial impressions and can't give a full review until I use it in the field. So far I have discovered three things I do not like or would have at least like to have seen done different. First, as stated earlier, I would have like a buckle on the box call pocket. Second, I would have liked to have seen a better pocket for a cell phone. My phone won't fit in the little mesh pocket inside the pocket with the shock cord strips and I don't really want to put it under the strips as I would have other stuff there. Lastly, unless I just haven't found it yet, there is no pocket with shell loops on this vest. How that was overlooked in an obviously well thought out design is beyond me.
