Gator fans will be along in a minute to tell us he's only coming back because he's not very draft-able anyway.

Great news!

He made a good decision. I get the feeling that he wants to be elite in life and not just football.

I have no problem with Cam coming back..... He makes the Gator WRs look pretty good.... :tu:

I wonder if all these vols that are returning on defense are doing so because of the addition of a certain new defensive coach the vols just acquired. Players love to play for shoop.

No, it was their projected draft position. Another year can only help their draft prospects.

Yes at least for JRM. Shoop recruited him hard at Vandy and is pretty high on him. Maybin was in attendance at his intro presser and Shoop specifically gave him and Sutton a shout out.

:rotf: I wasnt trying to go against the grain on you Pal. Their draft grade also had a lot to do with it.

No, that was Mosely!
Is he the guy that kept getting burned against bowling green up the sideline?

I believe it was Mosely. Him and Foreman were both pretty bad the first half of the year. Both were playing much better by the bowl game.

I say its a little of both.

Lots And Lots of JR's would jump all over a 3ed round grade.

They will be a lot of JR's taking in this year's draft alot from the 3ed round on.heck even Derrick Henry has a 2ed round grade! His not even the best HB on a lot of boards! so Alot of JRs are not ashamed of 3ed And 4th round picks. They wanna be a pro, and get paid.

So I say yes hiring that New D.C. that everyone seems to Love playing for has played a small part in both them Defensive guys returning.

It's ok pal you can admit that an ex vandy coach can be an upgrade to the program and be the reason these guys are gonna stay. :)
Seriously tho, you want to see how shoop can fire up a locker room go watch some of the vandy revealed videos on YouTube of the Franklin/shoop years. He'll make you wanna strap on the pads and go bust some heads!!

That'$ exactly it. It wa$ fooli$h of me to think that there could po$$ibly be anything el$e that factored into their deci$ion$ :D !

With that said, they both probably think that he will improve their draft stock. Had it been someone without a great rep, then they probably would have taken the shot and gone on.

I also hope that Shoop is in a position to become a head coach in 2-3 years, because that has been speculated as to why he chose TN at this time, while rejecting LSU last year and Auburn this year. If he does his magic here with the talent that has been accumulated, he will be a hot name when openings occur.
