He wanted to be NFL coach. I think it turned out just fine for him though 
Gotta wonder if he would have had the same success and support at LSU as he has at ALABAMA. ?>?? We will never know.

If he wanted to be the coach at LSU he would be the coach at LSU. They have had 2 head coach openings since he got back into college football. Heck, I'd bet he could have supplanted Les Miles sometime between 2010 and 2016 if he wanted the job.
