Can Notre Dame edge out SEC team?

I think it's far too early to determine if that would fly or not. Frankly, nobody knows. I do think if the Egg Bowl is played by two undefeated teams and it's a one score game at the end, ND wouldn't have a better resume than either of the Mississippi teams. I doubt State or Ole Miss goes undefeated though. Gonna be some good football in the next six weeks.
 
If ND wins out, then they might have an argument, but I don't think they will.
 
Oh another thing, Lowe isn't a Vol, he has just covered them for a few years.

So someone who graduates from the University of Tennessee is not necessarily a Tennessee Vol, even if they report on SEC football for a living. Interesting....and bizarre. Must be a Tennessee thing.

He, along with Finebaum, have been ultra critical over the years. I don't want a homer, but no need to go the other way to prove your "un-biasedness".

And, I'm sure we can find several Domers that you would say the same thing about.

I can't think of one ultra-critic of ND football who graduated from ND, which is why I was surprised by your observation of Chris Low. There's a reason our fan base has a nationwide reputation of being delusional homers!
