Carbon or Aluminum??

Been Bowhuntin' for many years and never made the change from aluminum to carbon but thinking about it now.

Carbon or Aluminum and why?

Which carbon??
 
Carbon - smaller diameter for same stiffness.

Carbon arrows don't bend so that's one less thing to worry about - but they may also develop cracks which are rare but can cause catastrophic failure at release. However you can check them fairly easily.

I've shot Beman ICS arrows (currently using the ICS Elites) for years now and love them.
 
I changed to carbon last year and have been very impressed I think they are faster and so far seem pretty durable. I shoot the easton epic st.
 
Carbon , lighter and stiffer than aluminum arrows of the same spine . Recover quicker out of the bow . They are either straight or broken , no bent arrows to sort through .
