I swapped cards in one cam today got home. Plugged it into my reader, plugged it into laptop and the batt was almost dead so I plugged in the charger as well, while doing that I bumped the card reader plug and it lost connection. Basically I removed the disk without "ejecting" it and that can damage or erase any images on it. I try and plug it back in and a MSG pops up CARD UNREADABLE!!! Do any of y'all computer gurus know if all the files are lost forever or is there a trick I can do to get them back? It would t work on my bushnell card viewer either and it had some good pics on it, I had the pics pulled up and looking at them when I bumped it loose and the 3rd picture was interesting, now I'm bummed :(

Unplug the reader and take card out and plug everything back in again that should work . Also restart your computer to and use a different usb hole for the reader if you have more than one

Man :( I cant get em back no matter what I do. I tryed restarting, removing and plugging back in and nothing. Also searched the web for recovery and cant get any of them to download. Guess Ill consider them lost. It was only 2 weeks worth of pics so not too important but it still bothers me cause its the second time Ive done said scenario. Thanks anyway fellas!!!!

I had this problem a while back. I have 3 different brand of cameras. I would swap the memory cards from one to the other, without keeping up with it. Finally, most of cards stopped working. To fix it, I just formatted each card. Then, I numbered them to keep up with which one goes with each brand of camera. Fixed it for me. Good luck.
