All right, anybody else using cargo pockets this year instead of a vest. this will be my 2nd year and I will be using those good ole pockets again. Can't haul as much gear I'm guessing, but I like to pack light anyway.

If you like cargos you should check out the ol Tom tactical pants. Have pockets for calls and removable knee pads. Bass pro in Nashville has the old style on sale for 30.

Awesome awesome pants if you were a vest or not

I would love to, but most of the places I hunt I have miles to walk out and the pouch on a vest is a must.

The best one is Cabelas with the speed seat. I have used it in the South quite a bit and it is great.

catman if you need a vest i have two brand new ones with tags on them that i can send you one if you need brother. every turkey hunter deserves to be comfy, and those cargo pockets let stuff rattle! if you want one just pm me your addy.

I wear a vest and cargo pants lol i just like the cargo pants but i carry way to much crap with me but i have been known to hide my vest in the bushes and cram my pockets full when im chasing a long beard thats kicking my arse

Nope not me I gotta have a cushion might be sitting a while lol
after a while my back forms to the shape of the tree and my butt takes on the shape of the rocks and tree roots underneath, so it's a "cushion" and very "comfortable".... part of hunting to me though, a back support or cushion would be very nice but I can do without it. Just gotta pick my tree carefully

Edit - I do have a cushion now that I got for deer season... I just carry it by the loop handle around my wrist... like 3 bucks at walmart lol

I like cargo pockets but also carry a small pack, I don't like vests as they get to hot trying to climb the mountains around here.
