I joined a Mississippi turkey hunter page on Fakebook (mistake) to see how the kids did on the youth hunt. I saw a post from a couple weeks ago asking about good turkey videos to watch. Pinhoti Project was mentioned more than anything else, but a LOT of people were mentioning Catman Outdoors. I thought that was pretty cool!

It has its positives and negatives. I've reconnected with old friends I never would have seen again otherwise. I've been on it 10 years now and I enjoy seeing my memories that pop up daily. I'll look you up and send you a friend request. I had to get off all the Fakebook turkey pages. Seems like they are 90% about 70 yard shots, reaping, and poaching. I've never seen so many "hunters" bragging about killing over the limit, killing turkeys during youth season, trespassing, poaching turkeys off private land while the landowner is at work, etc. It turns my stomach.

that's all the groups, not just turkey hunting. It's comical sometimes.

Carl Ray is the greatest troll on that page. He cracks me up.

The problem is, most don't realize 99% of the turkey hunters there are legal, despite 99% of them professing to be outlaws. A newer hunter may try to 'follow' in their footsteps not realizing this and find themselves in a world of legal trouble or personal trouble just in an attempt to earn 'credibility' from a facebook page.
