Catoosa camping/thunder chicken trip April 2-4 who all is interested? Its the opening hunt so the birds wont have been messed with yet. This is who we have so far.

We dont know where we will camp yet. Just depends on what everyone wants to do. If we dont get enough interest we might move it to later in the season.
 
Alright I have talked to a bunch of people who already have plans for that weekend since its opening weekend. So It will be April 27-29, more people can come, it will be warmer for camping, and there will be less people there that weekend.
April 27-29 mark your calendar! Be camping at the Firetower rd campground off or peavine since its the most central location.
 
Okay guys Im a retard, I put the dates down wrong again. April 23-25 is the catoosa get together The other dates were in the middle of the week. Sorry about that.
 
Buddy of mine hunts Catoosa a lot, deer and turkey. He didn't hear a bird down there in the spring. Did kill a decent buck last weekend though. TWRA paid him a visit at his house to see the antlers from the buck he killed. He checked the deer out online. He read the fine print on his permit and it said you could check them out online, but you still had to take it to the checking station. He read that after TWRA came to his house and explained it to him. Lucky for my friend he still had the antlers. Kudos to TWRA for checking it out
