I might be hunting Catoosa WMa this season if you don't mind helping a brotha out by maybe telling me some places to check out or any other tips. Just don't tell me the most popular response," get as far away from everybody", its common sense hahaha.

Watch for snakes. I have never turkey hunted over there, but have bow hunted for deer, copperheads and rattlers everywhere. Not what you was looking for but hope you keep this in the back of your mind.

They dont gobble there.....at all. Maybe a time or two on the roost then they shut up. Hard to hunt them birds. But some people have very good luck there

Avoid locator calls out there. Catoosa attracts newbys and aggressive hunters. Don't try to slip up on anything out there ether. Also be perpaired to move on a bird often. They like to go away from calls out there. So when that happens just circle and get in front of hom

I'm always covered up with turkeys during the deer hunts out there. Are they typically gonna be in the same areas in the spring?
