Catoosa

Since I have no tags left ,I went to Catoosa today with a friend to call for him..Hunted from daylight to 3:00 p.m. and heard absolutely 0 gobbles..We saw 1 long beard and 3 hens, 1 deer, 2 squirrels,and 2 black snakes..
A truck came down the road and stopped because they saw the tom out in a field and scared it in the opposite direction from us..
Ohh well, maybe next time

Catoosa is a hard place to turkey hunt.They don't gobble much usually.

Lots of turkeys & lots of hunting pressure

Hunted Catoosa several times and have NEVER heard a bird there. Thats why I don't hunt it anymore. Hatfeild mountain, peavine, genesis, bi-color Nothing.
