Caught a few on the Cumberland

Man and I went to Dover and fished the Cumberland River this morning.
Caught a few dinks then everything was from 2 to 3 1/4 pounds.
Short chunks.
Had a blast. Will definitely go back.

Good deal. I caught 14 dinks at the local lake and one that was 2.5-3lbs. Congrats on some quality fish

Looks like a good day to me! I was wanting to go perch fishing today but the weather scared me away from it. Shot crows instead.

Sorry I have no idea.
This was our first trip there since my buddy died.
All we did before then was jug fish and never farther East than Dover.

I love the Cumberland! Always calm except for the big cuddy cabin boats or whatever they are called....they make a bigger wake than the barges.

I drift bumping bottom for cats, caught some dandy blues out of her.

Any decent fishing near Clarksville?

Some very good bass fishing if you have a boat. Downstream of where the red river meets the Cumberland there are some good areas on the right hand side heading down river (natural rocky areas near the bluffs. )I've caught some descent fish up river from there as well fishing the rip rap rocks near the river walk.
